The Net in Situ was a not for profit BC Society created to house and manage MeshMesh. MeshMesh was a public WiFi mesh network in downtown Victoria. I, with my partners, created MeshMesh to provide 'Good Enough' service in partnership with local businesses. Participating Businesses would purchase an Access Point from us, with a captive portal displaying their information and twitter feed when a user would connect. Service was throttled to minimize the impact on their internet connect but still provide access to news, email, and research online.
